Reminiscent of the classic Windsor bench, this model is the Danish interpretation of the style. This two-seater bench blends high functionality, good quality natural materials, and subtle colours with simple lines, elegance and excellent craftsmanship. Models like this are often referred to as sofa benches, as they can serve as both, just as well in a hallway as in a living or bedroom. In the vein of Danish Modernism, this bench has a clear structure, with straight lines and softened edges. The emphasis is on the oak structure, which is firm, sturdy, but also light in its appearance. The spindles comprising the back are especially distinctive, and enhance the airiness of the design. What made – and still makes - this type of bench so popular is probably above all, the stylish shape and the simple functionality.
