Pair of Rosewood Armchairs by Celina Decorações, Brazilian Midcentury, 1960s
About the Item
Brazilian company Celina Decorações, based in Rio de Janeiro, signed one of the most modern lines of Brazilian furniture in the 1960s.
These armchairs in Rosewood have loose cushions, a widespread threat adopted by the company in most of its designs at the time. The restoration process reinvented the piece through the upholstery choice: a gorgeous 100% Organic Silk fabric by our collection Bossa Fabrics was the choice to replace the colorful and patterned fabrics shown on the magazine's pages.
