19th Century French Henr II Tooled Leather and Oak Armchair
About the Item
A very good looking 19th century antique French Renaissance Henri II hand-tooled original leather and oak ball arm fauteuil or armchair with beautifully hand carved oak frames and shaped brass studs. Straight turned legs united by a traditional 'H' stretcher. Lovely patina to the leather and the oak.
The dimensions are:
Height: 99cm (39.0in)
Width: 62cm (24.4in)
Depth: 51cm (20.1in)
In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. The original leather to the seat and back remain in good, clean condition. The antique oak ball armchair remains structurally sound. Overall, a good example.
