Antique Chinese Rug with Gold Field and Floral Medallion
About the Item
The old gold field shows a round, composite floral medallion, closely supported by vases, cloud bands, and bonsai trees, within triangular dragon fret and flower corners. Straw main border and inner with a crenellation pattern. Outermost dark blue plain surround. Moderate weave. Good condition. Lots and lots of verdant vases.
