Kelvin and Hughes Binnacle Compass with Oil Lights
About the Item
A documented Kelvin and Hughes brass binnacle compass in working order. It sits in a teak case with brass oil lights on either side. The small doors on each side open and the oil lamps slide out for lighting. Maker's plaque on the front indicating a Kelvin and Hughes instrument. England, C. 1960's. Sourced from a decommissioned ship. A rare find and makes a great gift for the sea-worthy.
