About the Item
Probably a boat builders model of S.Y. Prince Albert Steam Yacht.
An exceptional museum-quality model of the steam yacht, Prince Albert'. The fine shipbuilder's model is outfitted with a raised paneled mahogany cabin with glazing with working hatch and door. The interior of the cabin is with a mahogany table, two benches, steps and a brass stove with chimney. The cabin can be removed to view the interior. The model ship is intricately detailed with planked deck, hand rails, rudder and propeller, ships wheel with seat, five tin fire buckets and two rigged masts, sails in excellent condition. The model boat is with painted hollow hull with port holes and mounted onto a wooden base with name plaque 's.Y. Prince Albert'. This is a very fine example of a once working steam yacht.
