E A Taylor attributed made by Wylie & Lochhead of Glasgow.
An Arts & Crafts four-piece mahogany bedroom suite consisting of double wardrobe, dressing table, wash stand and 54 inch wide double bed. Fantastic metal work throughout, and original brass candle caps to the dressing table with Celtic cut-outs also to the to the washstand. Elongated hearts to the bed ends, and wonderful conforming cornices all with dental detailing.
It is rare to find period bedroom suites which still have their beds, circa 1900.
Measures: Wardrobe height 75", depth of cornice 21", width of cornice 53 1/2".
Dressing table height 57", depth 20", width 42".
Washstand height 43", depth 20", width 50".
Double bed 4'6" wide, headboard height 43".
