Thanks to its large size, its structurally super sound condition and its timeless design this carved alabaster chandelier too is bound to light up someone's days and evenings soon. It is so structurally sound that it rings like a bell for quite some time when you strike it. This also is the case, because it is thick and heavy and beautifully rounded atop. The many small black veins contrast even more when the light is switched on. However, there also are many more translucent veins and patches and together they paint a picture that truly is a joy to behold, because those translucent veins too create patterns and colors that only Mother Nature is capable of creating. Even if we shot a hundred photos, you still would not be able to see the beauty of this shade and its unique patterns. The replacement black metal chain and the equally mint and height adjustable, large alabaster canopy are like the icing on the cake of this work of lighting art. Thanks to the metal hook inside the height adjustable canopy, safely mounting this pendant tight to your ceiling and over your junction box will take no more than a few minutes. This alabaster chandelier is professionally rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage in the USA as well and it will take a regular screwthread bulb of up to 120 watts, easily. The surface of this striking shade is not as cleanly polished as some of our perfect antique alabaster pendants. This is very hard to see (especially when this light is mounted on the ceiling) and impossible to notice when the light is switched on, but it is the reason why we, nevertheless, dropped our price significantly. The surface of this shade is not as smooth as our mint alabaster pendants.
