Early 20th Century African Antique Wood Comb with Human Head
From the Chokwe Culture of Angola. A fine, old, much used comb with a glossy, glasslike patina. Of traditional form with a human head with a precise coiffure on an elongated neck for the handle. Followed by an abstract design for the body transitioning to the tines. The carved handle is soft from use and the times are worn down.
