Kentucky Crossroads Quilt
About the Item
This unusual patchwork quilt most closely resembles Kentucky Crossroads and Sawtooth. The patterns are combined, though, as to create multiple additional designs. One can see Tree Everlasting; Octagons and Nine Patch on Point to name a few. In all, the quilt is a complex combination of patterns. The quilt is in excellent condition. Quilted on one edge of the border are the large initials SB. The rest of the border is quilted with leaves and cable patterns. Measurements are 80" x 87". Pennsylvania origin; made circa 1880.
