About the Item
A magnificent pair of Antique George III sterling Silver Sauce Boats in an impressive Rocco Revival Style, referencing the Rococo designs of the 1740s. The Gravy Boats have a beautiful stylised shell shape and are decorated with chased designs.
The Gravy Boats were made in London, England in 1809 by William Stroud.
The Ladles were made in London, England 1772 by John Lampfert.

Both the Gravy Jugs and the Sauce Ladles are in excellent condition with no damage. Some minor wear to the gilding commensurate with age and use. (See Images)
