About the Item
A fine set of six silver gilt coffee spoons fashioned in the form of anointing spoons made specifically to commemorate the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II to the throne of England in 1952. Each is finely engraved and exhibits a rich gold wash, all bearing Birmingham hallmarks & makers marks for Barker Brothers Ltd., fitted in their original satin & velvet lined fitted case. Each spoon measuring approximately 3.75" long, with a combined weight of 1.73 troy ounces.
Case dimensions are 7/8" high x 6" wide x 5" deep.
