Pair of beautiful, George III Period, sterling silver gilt serving spoons, London, year-hallmarked for 1770, Thomas Evans and George Smith III - makers. Each spoon measures 8 1/4 inches long x 1 2/4 inches wide (at widest point) x 1 inch high (at highest point when lying flat). Lovely decoration. Cartouche of each is vacant. Pair is lightly gilded. Pair weighs 3.940 troy ounces. Dark areas in photos are reflections. In excellent antique condition.
