An exceptional, fine and impressive vintage Elizabeth II English sterling silver straight Old English feather edge pattern canteen of cutlery for six persons; an addition to our antique flatware sets
The pieces of this exceptional vintage straight flatware set for six in sterling silver have been crafted in the Old English feather edge pattern.
The anterior surface of each piece of cutlery is embellished with an engraved feather edge border paralleling the shape of the handle and encompassing the rounded heel.
The posterior of each fork and spoon is plain and unembellished; each spoon features a rounded heel to the bowl.
This cutlery set consists of 44 pieces:

Six teaspoons

The pieces of this silver flatware set, including the original knives, have been crafted by the Sheffield silversmiths Gee & Holmes in 1961.
The knives are fitted with the original blades and bear the mark 'Harrods, London, G.H Cutlers & Silversmiths, Stainless'.
This vintage canteen of cutlery is supplied in felt cutlery rolls; which not only protect the items in storage but significantly reduce tarnishing.
"Straight" means all the pieces are made by the same maker in the same year.
Condition
This vintage flatware set for six in sterling silver is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. Each piece has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition. Full hallmarks struck to the reverse of each piece are all very clear.
