About the Item
A good antique American sterling silver Georgian toddy/punch ladle, circa 1780, silver weight 2.5 oz (71 grams).
The ladle having a twist decorated whale baleen handle with a silver cap to the end. The generous round shaped bowl with a flared rim and the intials "WM" engraved in italic to the side of the bowl.
Punch was a great favorite at Georgian parties and this ladle would have graced a punchbowl of substantial proportions, due to it's length. The ladle is in great shape and is ready to serve your guests their favorite punch or nog at your holiday party!
Condition is very good, no damage or restoration noted.
