Multicolored French Limoges 4-Piece Porcelain Dinner Setting, Plates and Bowl
About the Item
This multicolored 4-piece Limoges porcelain dinner setting is rendered from luminous watercolors and botanical artwork created by NYC female Artist Emilie Clark exclusively for M.Legere and is dishwater safe. M.Legere chose Haviland, Limoges France's leading heritage porcelain manufacturer to produce the Emilie Clark luxury dinner setting.
"I’m interested in the literal interpretation of the word ecology, earth’s household, and how it relates to what we eat. So when guests sit down in front of a plated dish and observe the design on their plate, they might work their way backward from the composed meal to the many parts of nature from where it has come." - Artist Emily Clark.
The artist's signature, along with Haviland and M.Legere’s insignias are featured on the bottom of each multicolored plate and bowl. Dinner Plate (11 in./28 cm diam.); Salad Plate (8 in./22.5cm diam.); Dessert Plate (7.5 in. /19cm diam.); & Bowl (6.25 in./16 cm arcs inward to a 3.25 in./8 cm bottom diam., 3 in./8 cm height).

M.Legere Originals At The Table
M.Legere – Originals At The Table features exclusive contemporary artwork for luxury porcelain dinnerware, manufactured by Haviland, Limoges France’s leading heritage manufacturer, relying on secrets and skills that have been carefully learned and honed by artisans since 1842.
.
M.Legere reconfigured the historic fine-porcelain dinner setting to be more relevant to the way people entertain today. Each artist collection consists only of the assortment that are essential for the contemporary dinner and cocktail parties. A 4-piece porcelain dinner setting is composed of an 8 inch Salad Plate; 11 inch Dinner Plate; 7.5 inch Dessert Plate; and a deep bowl with a 6.25 inch top diameter and 3 inch height. M.Legere’s artists have also created unique artwork for a smaller appetizer plate perfectly sized at 6.38 inches to allow comfort and ease when milling-about at vibrant cocktail parties. The artist's signature, along with Haviland and M.Legere emblems are featured on the bottom of each plate and bowl. It is a common desire to rarify beautiful, fine objects and keep them on display as if in a gallery, but M.Legere wants its artworks to join dinner and cocktail parties. Each artist has created unique work for M.Legere’s porcelain plates and bowls that allows their art to come off the wall and set the evening stage for dinner and cocktail parties with “aha” moments that will showcase good food and shape memorable evenings full of good company, laughter, and lively conversation.
