Breakfast Cup & Saucer, Saint Cloud, circa 1725
About the Item
A most attractive and unusual pattern on this early example of French porcelain. While suggests a coffee cup to modern eyes, the decoration of tea plants in flower definitely says this was intended for tea.
Cup & saucer are both marked.
