About the Item
Rare Staffordshire agateware pitcher with pewter lid, circa 1840. Baluster shaped body molded overall, with vinery in greens and yellows on a blue beige and grey marbleized background, gilt decorated twig form handle, pewter lid stamped inside lid "Dixon & Sons". The pitcher measures 12" inches high x 5 1/2" inches in diameter.
Note: Small chip on the base as in pic. Condition noted.
