About the Item
This remarkably exquisite cut glass vase was crafted by one of the oldest glassworks firms in the United States, Pairpoint. The elaborate cut-to-clear decoration is brilliantly cut from a striking bright red to clear in a meticulous geometric pattern.
Established in 1880 in New Bedford, Massachusetts, the Pairpoint Manufacturing Company originally produced coffin fittings and metalwork. In 1894, Pairpoint merged with Mt.
