KITA LIVING x İLAERG. Ikebana Vase
About the Item
Attributed to the centuries-old Japanese art of arranging flowers, Ikebana Vase is created with İlayda Ergün, a ceramic artist based in Istanbul, yet one of our studio designers. Guided by the philosophy behind Ikebana which emphasizes simplicity, elegance and respect for nature, it is a curved piece that refines on both edges softly.
Arranged on one side of the Ikebana Vase, the flowers create balance and harmony, and the vase completes its calming expression with the sense of Ma; a word that refers to emptiness or the perception of a gap in Japanese culture. You can place the Ikebana Vase on your dining and coffee table, console, work table or a focal point of any room to add a calming touch to your living space.
The Ikebana Vase is stoneware, and crafted with slip-cast method in İLAERG Studio.
