Glazed Ceramic Vase/Polish, Toni Furlan, 1954

About the Item

The vase in question can be called a "polyvase" because of the presence of several slits with different shapes and mouths. The vase is characterized by a particular organic and animated form, accentuated even more by the finish of different polychrome glazes in shades of blue, white and blue which seem to have been poured over the ceramic. The piece in question is signed "T. Furlan" and dated '54 on the bottom of the vase.
