A French Silvered bronze "Islamic" Wine Cooler Vase, circa 1880
Of oval form, with two handles, the lower part of the body applied with a frieze of laurel leaves, engraved with a frieze of animals, depicting the Astrological Zodiacs, within circles and a frieze of oriental Arabic Islamic calligraphy on matted ground, with a silver-plated liner.
With french hallmarks.
Measures: 9.5" high x 13" wide x 12" deep

Very good condition, presents very well, normal wear consistent with age and use.
