Antique Pair English Porcelain Royal Doulton Ceramic Art Nouveau Vases Urns

About the Item

A very stylish Identical pair of English Royal Doulton Lambeth Moulded Salt-Glaze stoneware pottery long neck mantle vases of generous proportions. Each of bulbous form with flaired flat formed rims. Lavish Art Nouveau raised tube-line decoration of oval reserves surrounds in relief within the main body colour of dark and light green mottled ground. Back and front views are similar. First quarter of the Twentieth Century. Condition: Superb condition with no losses. Base marks and stamps as shown. Height: (an impressive) 12.5" (32cm). Diameter: (at widest) 4.75” (12cm).     Stunning example of an English Hand Decorated Porcelain Flair Rim Vases of museum quality, unmarked but firmly attributed to Rockingham. Last half of the Nineteenth Century. Each delicate wavy rim horn of plenty superbly hand painted depicting summer flowers and Old Roses. Supported on a square ornate base each corner with shell detailing. Condition: Good condition for such early items, however there are a few hairlines at bases areas, also some light staining to ground colour and wear to gilding at high points, please see all on images eight to twelve where close ups are visible.
