Six French glass apothecary lidded jars from the mid-19th century, priced and sold individually: $295 each. Created in France under the reign of king Louis-Philippe, each of this set of pharmacy jars (measuring 3.125" W x 3" D x 6.75" H for the small bottles and 3.25" W x 2.5" D x 7.5" H for the larger ones) presents a lid and Latin label such as the tincture of asafoetida. Purchased as a single or as a set, these French Louis-Philippe glass apothecary jars circa 1840 will make for an exquisite decorative addition, particularly placed in a bookcase or on a table top.
