From Jebel Ouichane, Beni Bou Ifrour, Nador, Nador Province, Oriental Region, Morocco
Lustrous transparent blue-gray bladed barite crystals in intersecting aggregates of subparallel crystals on matrix. Note the small transparent colorless barite crystals overgrown on the large barite crystals. They are definitely one of the finest barite discoveries in decades when it comes down to size of crystals, color, luster and aesthetics. These are not going to be around long. Minor areas of contact.
