About the Item
A beautiful pair of Imari porcelain cats. Originating in Japan and dated to the 1920's.
This pair of cats have such a lovely character, with slight differences from the handprinted enamel finish. They have slightly different sizes, beautiful dropped ears and wide eyes.
Enamalled in earthy red, white, blue, yellow and green.
Signed at the base.
Very good condition with normal signs of age.
Each cat measures approximately 18 cm high x 9 cm x 7 cm.
