Momcilo MILOVANOVIC grows up in a small village in the countryside. From his rural childhood will be born his attachment to the land as well as his taste for raw materials.
In 1950 he joined the School of Fine Arts in Belgrade where he trained in both painting and sculpture. Offering initially figurative works, he discovered abstraction when he arrived in Paris in 1960 and over time devoted himself solely to sculpture. He produced several public monumental works, notably for the municipality of Mantes-la-Jolie.
.
He uses all kinds of materials: wood, stone, metal, marble, copper, bronze, concrete. But above all, he likes to use recycled, used materials, which he transforms in order to give them a second life as an echo of his own history.
.
These works are distinguished by the marriage of raw wood and industrial materials such as aluminum, which thus accentuate the modernity of this geometric work with a refined and harmonious shape where all the masses are balanced.

Ron Arad, a British designer of Israeli origin, was born in 1951 in Tel Aviv. First trained at the Jerusalem Academy of Art, Ron Arad then studied at the Architectural Association School in London in 1973. . Ron Arad's first creations are furniture made with metal tubes and called "one-offs" because they are unique pieces. One Off is also the name of his first company. Ron Arad became famous in the early 1970s, thanks to the creation of seats inspired by the armchairs of a Rover, seats that he found in a car junkyard. Also among Ron Arad's best-known pieces are the Bookworm shelf from 1993 and the Tom Vac chair from 1997. His surprising work makes him a free creator without constraints or borders who navigates between design, architecture and plastic arts. Ron Arad uses materials such as plastic, polished steel or aluminum to create elements made of aerial scrolls. His creations with sinusoidal, elliptical or ovoid shapes range from unique pieces to industrial production, including limited series. In 2008, the Center Pompidou presents a retrospective of his work, entitled "No Discipline". There are major and emblematic pieces of the artist, prototypes accompanied by audiovisuals, limited series and objects of industrial production as well as numerous architectural projects. Ron Arad, whose works are exhibited in museums and galleries around the world, creates pieces for renowned houses such as Vitra, Kartell, Moroso, Artemide and Alessi. . Jean Tinguely, born May 22, 1925 in Friborg and died August 30, 1991 in Bern, was a Swiss sculptor, painter and draftsman. With his second wife, Niki de Saint Phalle, he created gigantic...Category
