Sin dagli albori della civilta' la stabilita', concreta e simbolica, viene rappresentata dalla colonna, fondamenta sulla quale sopportare monumenti, sapere ed esperienza fino a divenire la metafora dell'uomo, rappresentazione dell'ordine razionale dell'universo. La storia forgia la nostra identita' per essere elaborata e mostrata nel presente, dalle relazioni formali a quelle più intime. La base del contenitore e' realizzata in marmo Giallo di Siena scalpellinato a mano, il vassoio superiore e' realizzato in ferro acidato tagliato a laser.
Since the dawn of civilization stability, concrete and symbolic, is represented by the column, a foundation on which to bear monuments, knowledge and experience until becoming the metaphor of man, representation of the rational order of the universe. History forges our identity to be elaborated and shown in the present, from formal to intimate relationships. The base of the container is made of hand chiseled Siena yellow marble, the upper tray is made of laser-cut acid etched iron.
