Japanned steel clock face with English roses by Edmund Sagar, 1793-1805

About the Item

Japanned steel clock face with English roses in the spandrels and center with an Arabic numeral dial. The clock face retains its original steel hands. Edmund Sagar worked in several market towns in North Yorkshire before finally working in New Market Street, Skipton. Signed in the clock face: E. Sagar, Skipton Skipton, North Yorkshire, England, 1793-1805.
