Pair of Baccarat Style, French Regency Cut-Crystal Girandoles
About the Item
This monumental pair of Baccarat attrubuted Regency style girandoles date from the late 19th to early 20th century. They are hand-cut crystal with four candle-arms with hurricanes globes. At some point the central support stems were damaged and have been repaired, but are now at two different overall heights.
Note: One of the girandoles show a yellow-line (adhesive) from the old repair and this one has a finished height of 32.75" height.
Note: One of the girandoles has a wide silver metal band on the stem from an old repair and this one has a finished height of 30.25" height.
Note: See last two images for the stems and there repairs.
Note: There is one missing prism on one of the bobeche on the girandole that has the yellow glue residue.
Note: These is one missing prism on of of the bobeche on the girandole with no repairs.
Note: So there are two long prisms missing in total.
Note: One of the hurrican globes has two small chips on the top edge.
Note: There is a chip on the baseline of of the the girandoles.
