A fine and impressive antique Victorian English sterling silver table snuff box; an addition to our diverse silverware collection.
This fine antique sterling silver table snuff box has a rectangular form with rounded corners.
The surface of this Victorian snuff box is embellished with panels of impressive engine turned decoration framed with plain borders.
This box is fitted with a hinged hallmarked cover ornamented with a fine applied engraved shaped thumbpiece.
The engine turned decoration to the cover incorporates a vacant circular cartouche to the center.
The interior of each compartment has impressive gilding.
Condition
This Victorian snuff box is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent presentation condition. The engine turned decoration is very crisp. Full hallmarks and part hallmarks are all very clear.
