An exceptional, fine and impressive vintage Elizabeth II English sterling silver cigarette/jewelry box; an addition to the ornamental silverware collection.
This exceptional vintage Elizabeth II silver box has a plain rectangular form.
The surface of this impressive antique cigarette box is embellished with engine turned decoration, incorporating a rectangular vacant cartouche to the anterior side.
This example of vintage silverware is fitted with a hallmarked hinged silver cover, ornamented with further engine turned decoration accented with a tooled decorated chevron design to lower right hand corner.
The cover is encompassed with applied stylized scrolling leaf and floral decorated border.
This exceptional vintage box is fitted with the original cedar wood lining and retains the original detachable velvet jewelry fitment.
This sterling silver box has a weighted base and retains the original covering to the underside.
This fine example of vintage silverware is supported by four impressive swept bracket style feet.
By Virtue of its size this versatile box could be used for a multitude of functions.
