About the Item
A stylish Swedish Art Deco Gustavsberg Argenta silver inlay small bowl by Wilhelm Kage (Swedish, 1889-1960) the design conceived in 1938. The small rounded bowl stands on an unglazed foot with a fine linear pattern to the outer bowl and inlaid with small silver flowers to the inner bowl with silver inlaid around the top edge. The bowl has a mottled green glaze and has gold printed makers marks to the base.
For a similar patterned bowl see ‘argenta-bowl-kage-wilhelm’ in the Victoria and Albert Museum.
