Large 18th C Blue and White Spanish Lebrillo Bowl

About the Item

A large Lebrillo bowl, made in Granada, Spain in the late 18th century. Hand decorated using blue paints, most likely formed using a variety of ground minerals and other natural items, then glazed. Historic damage and old staple repairs. Chips and wear commensurate with age. Diameter 34cm x Depth 10cm Diameter of base 23.5cm
