English Staffordshire Bowl
About the Item
English Staffordshire bowl, this early 19th century bowl is likely from the Spode factory , the corners are ''pinched'' , the inner border features two repeating patterns , the upper pattern of stylized acorns and the lower pattern of stylized flowers. The main body of the bowl has multiple flowers, trees, and foliate and a song bird with colors of teal, yellow and coral. The outside of the bowl has similar decoration as the interior . The bowl rests on a low foot , the bottom is plain white with no maker's markings. It is in very good to excellent condition.
