This is a very good early example of a large diameter bowl made by William Moorcroft, of Moorcroft Pottery in the Freesia pattern and dating to circa 1935.
A very beautiful large early Moorcroft Bowl in the usual distinctive bold colours.
The piece is fully marked to the base with William Moorcroft's facsimile signature mark in blue, together with the impressed marks; Potter to HM the Queen and Made in England.
