A set of 24 reclaimed glazed encaustic floral floor tiles by W Godwin, Lugwardine. Dating from the late 19th century, these reclaimed floor tiles are of Pugin style in natural muted colours, ideal for use as an entranceway floor or fireplace hearth in a period cottage or Victorian era property. The set showcases a repeating pattern of stylised daisies around a muted green flower with a blue background. These reclaimed tiles have been in use for over 100 years and as such have a characterful look that enhances the beauty of their striking pattern. Each tile is 10.5cm x 10.5cm square (4.13in). Good structural condition. Small amounts of mortar residue. A couple with damage & wear. Four with damaged corners to varying degrees. Minor discolouration and light surface wear. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses, scuffs, and scratches.
