Sonia Rykiel Plum Knit Suit
About the Item
Sonia Rykiel c.1990s suit crafted of plum double knit wool featuring an elongated jacket and mid-calf length skirt. The simple cut of the oversized jacket is distinguished by a single side button at the jewel neckline, wide, dolman sleeves with turned-back cuffs, and welted seams throughout; at back, the off-center seam at right ends with an inverted pleat and offers counterpoint to the jacket opening at left in front. In addition, there is a small open pocket on the top right side and slit pockets hidden in the welted side seams. The matching A-line skirt has deep inverted pleats front and back and side zipper. Unlined, with matching shoulder pads.
Marked size 42. Excellent condition.
