About the Item
This is a stunning Scaasi Boutique 1980's vintage blue silk taffeta one shoulder evening gown. The high low silhouette, bows and unique criss cross pleating make this dress an incredible piece to add to any wardrobe or collection. The sheath upper silhouette provides a dramatic contrast to the gathered skirt with the giant oversized bow on the hip. We particularly love that the red lining peeps out every now and then when the dress is worn!

Arnold Scaasi designed ball gowns and dresses for many celebrities and many of high society's fashion icons. Barbra Streisand, Mary Tyler Moore, Elizabeth Taylor, Joan Rivers, Barbara Bush and Hillary Clinton were among his many loyal clients. Barbara Streisand wore a now iconic sheer pantsuit by Arnold Scaasi with flared legs and tuxedo cuffs when she accepted her first Oscar for "Funny Girl."
With attention to every detail in the construction of a garment, Scaasi gowns were made to fit and move with the body.
