About the Item
Silk chiffon dress from the 1930s with an unusual cut and modern presence. Oversized kimono sleeves fall from a yoke and are loosely gathered and float over the the dress in an unusual configuration. These large billowy sleeves are anchored over the bodice of the dress which is essentially sleeveless and is draped and tucked in front for interest as well. A panel of ruched chiffon runs down from the back of the waist and releases in fullness at hem and creates
