About the Item
Sonia Rykiel 1980s red double knit wool coat or sweater dress featuring the designer's characteristic bow at the neck, accomplished by tying the long knit strips attached to the front of the collar. This version is unique for the cut of its wide sleeve, which is open under the arm in an unusual construction, as seen in the photos. Other features include five button closures down the front, side slit pockets, and shoulder pads. The oversized cut of the piece, typical of the era, allows for a variety of sizes.
