This fine antique English sterling silver goblet has a plain bell shaped form onto a cylindrical knopped pedestal to a circular spreading foot.
The lower portion of this impressive goblet is encircled with embossed fluted decoration.
One side of this antique goblet is embellished with a contemporary bright cut engraved coat of arms, pertaining to the boarding school Charterhouse*, encompassed with the belted motto ‘Deo Dante Dedi' - God having given, I give .
The knops to the pedestal and foot are ornamented with applied bead decoration.
The goblet retains the original gilded interior.
