A rare ladies hunting, side-saddle, combined sandwich case and flask in leather case. The 'piggy back' hunt canteen differs from the normal style of side by side as the flask sits on top of the sandwich box instead. The leather with saddle straps and front fastening buckle. It has a inner divider for the sandwich case and flask. The top of the sandwich 'box' has the traditional D loop to pull it out of the case and the inside stamped with James Dixons 'Trumpet and Banner' trademark, T, JD & S, EPBM, 946'. The shaped flask also with 'Trumpet and Banner' mark and hinged lid with screw bayonet fitting.
