The Tryptich series included APETHOVEN, APVSHKIN & REBELAPE NFT Artworks. This is not a childrens toy but an adult toy from the Graffitti, Street Art, Pop Art worlds, similar to Kaws, Bearbrick 400%, Bathing Ape etc. Ruslan Karablin is a New York-based artist and designer, best known for his streetwear brand SSUR (pronounced "ess-sure"). Born in Odessa, Ukraine, he immigrated to the United States in the 1970s and grew up in the Coney Island neighborhood of Brooklyn. Karablin studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and launched his SSUR brand in 1994. SSUR is an extension of his fine art, which often incorporates political messages and provocative themes. His work is influenced by various sources, including his Russian background, urban culture, and the socio-political climate. Some of SSUR's most recognizable designs are the "Comme des F*ckdown" and "The Cut" collections, which gained significant popularity in the streetwear scene. The brand is known for its distinctive graphics and bold typography, often drawing inspiration from classic art, pop culture, and provocative slogans. Over the years, SSUR has collaborated with various streetwear brands, artists, and musicians, making it a staple in urban culture. Karablin's artistic vision continues to make a strong impact in the world of streetwear and contemporary art. Ruslan Karablin's SSUR brand has continued to evolve over the years, expanding from its original focus on t-shirts to encompass a wide range of products, including hoodies, caps, accessories, and even art pieces. The brand's unique approach to design and its willingness to push boundaries have helped it maintain a loyal following among streetwear enthusiasts and art collectors alike. SSUR has built a strong presence in both the fashion and art worlds through various collaborations and limited-edition releases. Collaborations with notable brands like Stussy, Converse, Black Scale, and Prohibit have garnered attention and further solidified SSUR's status as an influential player in the streetwear scene. Karablin's fine art often blurs the lines between high and low culture, drawing from an array of visual sources such as Russian Constructivism, Soviet-era propaganda, and American pop art. His work is often characterized by bold colors, strong lines, and a mix of animal, graphic and abstract elements. In addition to his streetwear designs, Karablin has exhibited his art in galleries and events around the world.
