GRAND POOL by Ramon Enrich - minimalist iron sculpture, pool, unique work

2022

About the Item

GRAND POOL is a unique sculpture by Spanish contemporary artist Ramon Enrich. Painted iron sculpture, oxidized patina and wax finish, 23 cm × 50 cm × 30 cm. Halfway between a sculpture and a three-dimensional drawing, this artwork is full of irony as the functionality of the swimming pool is dropped in favor of a minimalistic spacious approach.

The substance partially covering it is the neodymium. The use of this material on a diamagnetic surface favours the passage of an attracting magnetic force thus modifying the aspect of the skull. The original Jericho skull found in Palestine dates back to the 7th century B.C. It is considered to be the earliest piece of anthropomorphic...
