This sculpture from Linda Stein’s Knights of Protection series functions both as a defender in battle and a symbol of pacifism, and is made of ceramic with metallic paints. Stein's works are in more than 25 museum permanent collections, including Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, Georgia Museum of Art, and Ringling Museum of Art in the US; Victoria Gallery & Museum and Manchester Art Gallery in the UK; Espoo Museum of Modern Art in Finland; and Konstmuseet i Skövde in Sweden.
