About the Item
The Spyrite 5 sculpture is an artistic work inspired by transformation and connection. Originally, this piece is a cube, but it reinvents itself by stretching and spreading out to create a dynamic and striking vision.
The cube divides into two distinct parts, but remains united by elegant lines that connect them. These sinuous lines, carefully designed, maintain the balance between the two halves while creating a sense of movement and continuity.
Spyrite 5 captures the essence of transformation, offering a unique perspective on the deconstruction and reconstruction of a classical geometric form. The artist manages to give life to this work by harmoniously combining the rigid shapes of the cube and the fluid lines that connect them.
This stainless steel sculpture brings a touch of originality to any space thanks to its bold aesthetics and its ability to embody the idea of connection and transformation.

Guillaume Roche
Guillaume Roche is a sculptor. Born in Lorient, graduated from the National School of Applied Arts in Paris, the artist works in Étrechy in Essonne. Stainless steel is his modeling ground. More than a favorite material, the artist obsessively pushes the limits of the material. The contrasts it provokes, solid suppleness, cold reflection, smooth roughness, massive lightness (...) give every day the tension necessary for the sculptor to work. The action is a constant round trip between body and matter. Athletic temporality where man develops the characteristics of the material through his own physical limits. But also intellectual, by the way he explores all the technical and mechanical properties of his metal skins. His research is carried out in a geometric work, which perpetuates the dynamics caused by stainless steel. Spheres, cubes, curves, parallel or perpendicular are the tools of the sculptor in the tension of his work. Form after form, each period is the deepening of a geometry in its monumental quest. His source of inspiration: the transformation of matter. It freely recomposes the metal plates cut with plasma and stamped with hammer-hammer. The artist translates movement and energy by the dynamism of the assemblages and seeks the balance of the composition. His sculptures offer us aerial movements, round shapes with powerful lines, delicate and sensual cuts. The contextualization of his Monumentales works, inscribes the approach of Guillaume Roche in the field of architecture: work of structure, lines, matter, study of a volume and its proportions according to a context and an environment. Monumental and yet light, he conceives his works, of a highly controlled stability, at the limit of their point of balance.

- GryphonBy Damon HyldrethLocated in Napa, CAThe sculptures of Damon Hyldreth appear both static and fluid, rigid and flexible, strong and smooth, effectively blurring the line between nature and structure. By crafting organic forms from an obviously man-made metal, Hyldreth creates a unique symbiosis between nature and structure, unifying the sculpture and the surroundings through the free-flowing energy and architecture of his artworks. Keeping in mind the intimate connection between artists and their tools, Hyldreth studies the potential energies of his metals and coaxes out exquisite forms and natural power. Using mainly stainless steel, as well as the occasional bronze and Cor-ten steel, Hyldreth allows his materials to dictate their final shape and become an ultimate collaboration between man and matter. The evocative forms subliminally draw the audience in, giving every viewer a deeply personal experience. In 2004 Damon received his BFA in Sculpture from San Francisco Art Institute in San Francisco, CA. Public and private installations of Hyldreth’s work include the town of Palm Desert, CA, the Four Seasons Hotel in Hong Kong, The W Hotel in Taipei, Taiwan, Trump Hollywood, Hollywood, FL Neiman Marcus, Houston, TX, Soffitel Hotel, Los Angeles, CA and the Westminster Bridge Park Plaza...Category
