Wes Wilson
Original Psychedelic poster by Wes Wilson for Butterfield Blues Band

1967

About the Item

Wes Wilson 🇺🇸 (1937 - 2020) is considered one of the masters of the psychedelic rock poster of the 1960s. At the center of the counter culture, the posters are at the limit of legibility, they are opposed to the rigor of advertising posters promoting the products of the consumer society. This poster was intended to promote the Butterfield Bluesband & Charles Lloyd concert that took place on April 15-16-17, 1967 at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco.
