Original vintage poster advertising the Onoda City Industrial Festival featuring colourful artwork depicting ladies in traditional Japanese dress with flowers in their hats dancing by red lanterns with fireworks in the background, the title text in bold lettering diagonally above an industrial cog in the dark blue sky and in front of a factory and smoke rising from the chimneys on the yellow background below. Supported by the Industrial Festival Support Association, Onoda City Hall and Onoda Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Onoda Agricultural Cooperative Association, Onoda Fisheries Association, Takachiho Fisheries Cooperative Association, Takachiho Agricultural Cooperative Association, Onoda Newspaper Reporters and the Onoda District Labour Union Federation. Onoda city 小野田市 located in the Yamaguchi Prefecture Japan was founded in 1940, merging with San'yo town to form San'yo-Onoda city in 2005. Good condition, restored folds, restored tears, minor staining, backed on linen.
