This Limited Edition Linocut print features a little hedgehog foraging the woodland floor in preparation for hibernation. Fly agaric toadstools and a Parasol mushroom are sheltering the little hedgehog from the falling Autumn leaves. Ltd Edition of 30

Kate Heiss
Kate Heiss is a contemporary printmaker and designer creating limited edition screen prints and linocuts on paper. Heiss studied at the Royal College of Art, graduating with an MA in Textile Design in 1997. She then worked for a wide range of fashion brands before setting up her printmaking studio in 2011. Heiss creates dynamic, vibrant, illustrative prints inspired by her love of birds, flowers and nature of the landscapes of East Anglia. Her work is handmade in her studio in Hertfordshire and regularly exhibited across the UK. Heiss’s artworks and surface pattern designs have also been used by many familiar Stationery and Homeware brands. Her clients include the Museums & Galleries, The ART File, Art Angels, Woodmansterne, Camden Graphics, Athena, Rewrapped and John Lewis. Recently, she completed several private commissions and has had her work featured in a variety of books.
